This combination course of Train the Trainer and Moving People Safely allows your staff to return to their work environment with a set of skills to be able to train your staff to move the people they are supporting confindently and with dignity.

Train the Trainer

This section of the course is presented over two days, it is a dynamic, practical train the trainer course suitable for all levels of training professional. It is based on the training we give our own excellent trainers.

People expect a lot when they go on a course, and a 'run of the mill' training puts people to sleep. Spending four days with us will keep you awake - guaranteed.

Training should be about enlivening, inspiring and motivating people, giving them simple usable skills, and making the training room a really fun place to be. Most of all, we build confidence; the confidence to know that whatever is thrown at you staff, they will be able to make it work.

Safer Moving of People

The Level 2 Award in Moving People Safely (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for those who work, or intend to work, in a role that involves assisting and moving people. It is the perfect course for those working in a variety of health and social care environments such as care homes.

Successful candidates will learn the key principles of safe handling and how to apply these in their workplace. They will also practise a range of techniques, ensuring that they leave the course confident in the safe moving and handling of people.

    Course Assessment

    Train the Trainer: Delegates will be assessed on a 15 minute presentation of their choice on Safer Moving Of People. Safer Moving of People: Two multi choice exam and practical assessments carried out throughout the course. Upon successful completion, the delegate will be awarded a certificate, which is valid for 3 years.
