This ½-day Dementia Awareness training course has been designed as an introduction to the subject and to make staff feel more confident about caring for someone with the condition. The course covers all aspects of dementia, including the symptoms to look out for, information on how dementia is diagnosed and tips for changes that can be made to a person’s home and lifestyle in order to make everyday living easier. We also have a bespoke course to cover Dementia Awareness when supporting someone with a Learning Disability as diagnoses, symptoms and treatments are far more complex than the general public.
A multi choice exam. Upon successful completion the delegate will be awarded a certificate which is valid for 1 year.
